Although a lot of people plan their Caribbean vacations on the condition of the beaches, there is a growing number of people who are planning their vacation based on the scuba diving. This is why the number of people vacationing to Aruba is increasing.
To begin with it's the second largest marine reserve in the world, UNESCO has named it a world heritage site, and Rodale's Scuba Diving Magazine consistently names it as one of the best dive spots in the world – all of this is for good reason.
The Galapagos is one of the world's most pristine environments, a national park, and wildlife sanctuary. It is one of the only places you can have up-close interactions with wild animals.
Humans tend to build up an amount of hormones in their body when they get in danger, their heart rate increases. This is normal because the body wants to survive and that's why it produces adrenaline so the body can react faster. Now the problem is: Your underwater – can't talk – no sound – it might be cold – and your vision is blocked by the murky water. What do you do?
One of the reasons it is such a good idea to go scuba diving in Aruba is because it gives you the opportunity to see the island from another perspective. When you typically go on an island vacation, you get to see the usual sights. You see the sandy beaches, the great sunsets and the clear waters. When you are scuba diving, you get to see those same clear waters but from in those waters.
Scuba Diving in Galapagos can be arranged in a couple of ways. First for advanced divers there are a handful of yachts, which offer 7-night live aboard cruises. The highlight of these cruises is the 3 days spent diving at Wolf and Darwin. This is a fantastic experience, which during peak season (June – November) includes diving with whale sharks, schools of hammerheads, Galapagos, silky and black tip sharks.
Galapagos isn't just for advanced divers; these waters offer something for divers of all skill levels. Intermediate divers will be delighted by daily dive trips to sites like Gordon Rocks, Cousins Rocks, North Seymour and Floreana where hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, giant manta rays, golden rays, morays, fur seal and sea lions are all commonly seen.
Because you become certified in scuba diving and have instructors with you the entire time, it even makes for a fantastic family bonding experience. It will make the dive so much more enjoyable because you will be able to share those memories with your family for a lifetime. Instead of just saying about how nice it was laying on the beach, you can talk about how great it was diving underwater
